I grew up in Syracuse, NE.  The daughter of Clifford Lavon and Verna Mae Lang.  I have two brothers, Bill and Keith, and one sister, Karen.  I attended Wayne State College in Wayne, NE and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education with endorsements in Elementary Education and K-12 Special Education in May of 1984.

    I moved to Exeter in August of 1984 to teach the SUCCESS II program which was located in Exeter at that time.  I was also the K-12 Special Education teacher and Title I reading and math teacher.  The following year I continued as the Special Education teacher and Title I teacher.  My current job is Special Education teacher working with 7th through 12th grade students who are identified as having learning problems.  I am also the Coordinator for the Title I program.

    I married John Mueller of Exeter in 1995.  My husband is the Maintenance Supervisor for the Village of Exeter.  We have two children: Broc and Tara.
