Each year my second grade students enjoy a day or two out of the classroom! Outdoor Ed day is used to help students gain an understanding of the natural world. They”eat like birds”, “hunt like bats”, study animal tracks, study the movement of shadows, use wind vanes, and participate in other fun activities.
